How do I know if I am eligible to request an invitation?

Accepted Answer

NextGen Division (2009-2010 male):
If you have played for the U16, U17, or U18 National Team, or if you play abroad in a Tier 1 AAA organization, you are welcome to submit a request.

Futures Division (2011 male):
If you have participated in U15 National Team Selection Camps, or if you play abroad in a Tier 1 AAA organization, you are welcome to submit a request.

If none of the above applies and you believe you would be a quality addition to the Showcase, you may still submit a request, and our representatives will determine your eligibility.

For U18 Female and U15 female divions:
If you play for a Tier 1 AAA organization, or if you believe you would be a quality addition to the Showcase, you may submit a request, and our representatives will determine your eligibility.

What happens after I submit a request?

Accepted Answer

Your request will be reviewed by our representatives, and you will be contacted directly to determine whether an invitation will be offered.

What is the cost of the Showcase?

Accepted Answer

The Showcase cost is comparable to other premier North American events. Players will be accommodated in the University of Prince Edward Island dormitories with a full meal plan, offering exceptional value. The final event fee will be communicated with the official Invitation.

Question 4

How many games will I play?

Accepted Answer

NextGen and Futures (Male)
Four games (three 20-minute periods):
Three round-robin games + Championship/3rd place/Consolation
Three practice session and an extra skirmish.

U18 and U15 (Female)
Five games (three 20-minute periods):
Three 75 minute skills sessions

What else will be available during the Showcase?

Accepted Answer

All players will have the opportunity to participate in panel presentations featuring elite hockey and player development experts.
You may preview two full sample panel discussions recorded at the 2025 edition of the Showcase, offering an inside look at the high-caliber knowledge and experience shared throughout the event.
